Boho-Woodland Styled Elopement
It's been a ridiculous amount of time since I last put words down on 'paper' and since I'm two weddings and two elopements in to my 2018 season I'm feeling more inspired than ever. The idea of creating a styled elopement shoot has been mulling around in my mind for quite some time now, and thanks to Mary (Mary Calotes, photographer), I had the little push I needed. The reassurance of someone who had similar ideas allowed me to realize mine were in fact going to turn into something beautiful.
Endless hours of work and brainstorming went into this beautiful evening and I would definitely say it was all worth it, and then some. I'm inspired and happy, pushing myself to limits I didn't know I could, and creating images that I am oh, so proud of. As if the excitement of everything coming together wasn't enough, less than a week before the shoot my dreamy man got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. From that moment this styled shoot became more of a trial run of ideas for my own special day and I'm over the moon that something I could dream up, does in fact create the magic I was hopeful it would.
I need to give copious amounts of thanks to everyone who donated their time, energy, and talent to make this shoot happen. Without you incredible humans, my dream wouldn't have become a reality one breezy May evening. And, Amanda + Michael.. you have a love that is so endless and pure, it's the most incredible feeling to be around you two.
